It is now a “crime” in the United Kingdom to display one’s Christian faith in areas dubbed as abortion “safe zones.”
Reports indicate that violators who are caught “praying,” “reciting scripture,” or “crossing themselves” near one of the country’s abortion centers could face a prison sentence of up to six months.
The new rules aim to deter Christians from having any influence whatsoever on women who enter abortion clinics with the intent of murdering their unborn children.
It was already a crime under previous rules to engage in Christian behavior near an abortion clinic. Fines of up to £1,000 (~$1,100) were imposed on violators, we are told.
Now, however, a Christian could find himself in the clink for expressing such behavior anywhere in the vicinity of baby murderers, who wish to have their consciences left alone as they enter and leave the abortion clinic. (Related: Satanic religious groups claim that abortion is one of their holy sacraments.)
People who “recite scripture, genuflect, sprinkle holy water on the ground or cross themselves if they perceive a service-users is [sic] passing by” will be considered guilty of violating the new law.
It was not enough, in other words, for Christians to have to pay hefty fines for violating the senses of women getting abortions by their presence. The UK now wants them to be thrown in prison as an additional punishment.
The amendment will alter the Truss Government’s Public Order Bill and comes with the support of a number of Conservative Party MPs, including former Cabinet Office minister Andrew Mitchell and former Home Office minister Caroline Nokes.
Left-wing Labour MPs also support jail time for Christians caught practicing their religion outside an abortion clinic, including one who described such persecution as being necessary “to protect a woman’s right to abortion.”
It is unclear why this is suddenly an issue, especially considering the fact that abortion access has never been easier throughout the UK. Just last year alone, some 214,256 abortions were performed in England and Wales, which is the highest number ever recorded – beating a previous record of 209,917 in 2020.
These figures are apparently not high enough for many in the abortion industry who want to see even more babies murdered. This is why they are now pushing to make abortion “decriminalized” up until the moment of birth across the UK.
Physicians at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists say infanticide needs to be legalized in order to prevent “cruel” investigations into women who get them illegally.
“It is our belief that prosecuting a woman for ending their pregnancy will never be in the public interest,” said Dr. Edward Morris, president of the organization.
In the comments, one person pointed out that it is a misnomer to call abortion clinics “safe zones” when they are inherently unsafe for the victim babies who are murdered within them.
“While Christianity is persecuted, Islam is protected,” noted another about the double standard of the law in the UK and elsewhere.
“Meanwhile, Muslim child groomers caught in the vicinity of a school will only be asked to move on because the police are too frightened of being labelled as racists,” noted someone else.
“And in Cologne, the daily Muslim call to pray will now be heard throughout the city. We are watching the demise of Western civilization.”
To this, another responded that Muammar Gaddafi warned about this back in 2006, stating on Al Jazeera TV that Islam would eventually conquer Europe “without firing a shot.”
